Boerne Little League Team Advances to U.S. Bracket Championship

Texas squad defeats Nevada 5-2 in third round of Little League World Series

Boerne to face Paseo Verde in U.S. bracket championship game

The Boerne Little League team from Texas has punched their ticket to the U.S. bracket championship game at the Little League World Series. The team defeated Henderson, Nevada 5-2 on Wednesday afternoon.

Boerne fell behind 2-0 early in the game, but rallied back with a go-ahead grand slam by Doc Mogford in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Boerne will now face Paseo Verde of Nevada in the U.S. bracket championship game on Thursday.
