Connecticut Melodic Death Metal Outfit Signs With Prosthetic Records for Album Release
Fires In The Distance has recently signed with Prosthetic Records for their melodic death metal debut album release, "Air Not Meant for Us". The Connecticut four-piece will release the album on May 12.
Fires In The Distance consists of vocalist/guitarist Jonathan Cottam, drummer Alex Wicklund, bassist Jonathan D'Agostino, and guitarist Ryan Widmann. The band has been creating music together since mid-2021 and is known for their massive guitar sound, melodic leads, and soaring vocals.
The upcoming album, "Air Not Meant for Us", was produced by Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland at Atrium Audio in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The album's title track offers a taste of the band's epic sound, with driving riffs, soaring vocals, and technical passages.
